General questions
How is Thai massage different from other types of massage?
Traditional Thai massage is unique because it combines stretching, pressure and joint mobilisation, following the sen energy lines of Thai tradition. Unlike Western massages, which mainly use the hands, Thai massage uses the hands, elbows, knees and feet. It is given fully clothed.
Do I need to undress for a Thai massage?
No, traditional Thai massage is given fully clothed. Ideally, come in comfortable clothes: we lend you everything you need for the session. For oil massages you will need to undress partially, but you will always be covered with towels to protect your privacy.
How long does a massage session last?
Foot reflexology lasts 30 minutes, the facial, head and neck massage 1 hour, and the relaxation packages 90 minutes. Other massages can be booked for 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours (hot stones and herbal compresses: 90 minutes or 2 hours). Each booking includes an extra 15 minutes to welcome you.
Does Thai massage hurt?
Thai massage can be intense but should never be painful. Our therapists adapt the pressure to your sensitivity and preferences. Feel free to say so during the session if you would like more or less pressure. Firmer pressure is available on some massages for an extra €5 to €15.

Health and contraindications
How often can I have a massage?
There's no rule: many clients come every 2 to 4 weeks, others now and then, whenever they feel like it.
Are there any contraindications to Thai massage?
Some situations call for caution: pregnancy, serious heart conditions, thrombosis, recent fractures, skin infections, fever. If in doubt, ask your doctor before your first session.
How should I prepare for my first session?
Just arrive on time: each booking includes 15 minutes to welcome you on top of the massage. Avoid a heavy meal in the 2 hours before the session. Remove jewellery and contact lenses. Tell your therapist what you expect and where you feel tension. Then relax and enjoy the moment!
Can I have a massage if I have back problems?
Massage can help relax a tense back, but it is not a medical treatment. Let us know about any back problems when you book and we will adapt the pressure and stretches. If you have lasting pain or a diagnosed condition (sciatica, a slipped disc…), ask your doctor first.
