Traditional Thai Massage
Ideal for feeling fit and full of energy. You stay dressed in comfortable clothing, with no oil, while the palms, elbows, knees and feet work through a series of pressures and stretches drawn from Thai tradition.
Each booking is 15 minutes longer than the massage, to welcome you. Normal pressure.
The treatment
Traditional Thai massage, or Nuad Thai, is an age-old practice from Thai culture, inscribed on UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2019. It combines pressure, gentle stretches and mobilisation, in a spirit close to yoga.
The therapist uses their hands, elbows, knees and feet to apply rhythmic pressure along lines that Thai tradition calls 'Sen', the body's energy lines. A whole-body massage designed for relaxation and wellbeing.
Unlike Western massage, Thai massage takes place on a massage table while you stay dressed in comfortable clothing. Loose clothing leaves you free to move for the stretches.
